Yorkshire Wolds Cycle Route

16th and 17th May 2020 - 9 places available (as of Jan 20)

A gem of a ride with quiet country lanes that criss-cross the rolling chalk hills of the Yorkshire Wolds are a cycling treat, leading to wonderful views, wildlife, historic places and pretty villages. Beverley is a gem of a medieval city. Home to thousands of seabirds, Bempton's white cliffs are the Wolds rising impressively out of the North Sea.
Linking all this together is the 146 mile Yorkshire Wolds Cycle Route with over 8000 ft of ascent.

We provide a two day excursion departing from Wold Newton just off the route and we start heading westwards towards Malton and then heading southwards through some classic Wolds Valleys and arriving at our overnight stop at Pocklington, some 60 miles into the route where your overnight bags and you can relax in the bar and share your experiences with your guides and fellow riders.
Day two we head towards Beverley and the Minster then east towards Driffield and the coast before our final few miles back to Wold Newton.
The ride will be led by local qualified and experienced ride leaders with both cycle leading/coaching and mechanical qualifications.

The accommodation is shared twin rooms and the cost of the trip is £140 per person.
The ride is open to under 18s accompanied by an adult.
Each group size is just 8 riders.
In 2019 we will be running two groups a fast and slower and offering single room supplement for an additional £30.
